The LTO Network has announced NFT2.0 that aims to empower content creators and allow true digital ownership of assets.

The LTO Network took another step in its journey by launching Titanium, the NFT2.0 Litepaper, last week.
The network announced that the litepaper was ready on December 23 via Twitter. The paper introduces the NFT 2.0, which is built around a decentralised wallet design that gives users “true possession” and also gives the holders of the “Ownables” the ability to trade them directly in a peer-to-peer (P2P) network. The mastermind of the NFT2.0 technology is Arnold Daniels, the Lead Architect of the LTO Network.
“With NFT2.0, the asset is truly in your possession. It sits in your wallet, on your phone, or laptop, and you have full control over it. You’re able to trade them with other users without the need for a 3rd party,” mentioned Daniels in the official blog of the release.
The technology was co-authored by music industry veteran turned LTO Network Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Shawn Naderi. He has worked behind the scenes with several world-renowned artists and has a thorough understanding of content & digital rights management.
“Today, we will start with digital content, but in the future, we will explore digital ownership of all kinds of real or non-real world assets from real estate to anything you can imagine,” added Naderi in the blog.
It is noteworthy that the LTO private layer utilized by the network is not a blockchain but a communication layer where “events” can be shared from peer to peer. Events serve a similar purpose on the private layer as that of transactions on a blockchain.
