The move, announced on February 3 via Radio Caca’s official Twitter, has overseen $50,000 in $RACA airdropped. The cooperation was hatched in a bid to construct an educational metaverse, empowering education reform and promoting the implementation of educational equity.
“As a carrier that integrates the virtual world and the real world, Metaverse contains huge opportunities for bringing changes in education, social networking, content, office and other scenarios,” Radio Caca explained in a Medium publication documenting the partnership on January 17. ”At present, with the COVID-19 pandemic spreading all over the world, online education has become the preferred way. ‘Metaverse + Education’ has become a new battle ground of global digital innovation.”
Radio Caca’s USM effort marks a bid to alter the way people see both the possibilities of the metaverse and indeed education. The virtual world constructed will open the doors to more people than ever helping them acquire the kind of education they had previously never thought possible.
“In the USM Metaverse, educational resources are modular. Teachers can efficiently compose new educational scenes using and recombining existing modules and hence truly master their own educational resources,” Radio Caca states in their Medium post.
The project does of course remain in its initial stages and there is a fair distance to go, but the initial outlining of intentions signals a move that is not too common in different metaverse projects throughout the space.
Impressive Social Media Metrics
Radio Caca has seen an impressive rise since it began by making partnerships with well-known academic and scholarly connected names. The team has really sough-after well-establish names like Binance, Stanford, Google, SpaceX, and now Cambridge.
The clever partnership has paid dividends in the project’s social media growth. The Radio Caca team also put out a Tweet on February 4 that showed has fast the rise of the protocol has been as of late.
In just eight months, the group has shot past several other well-known metaverse projects like CEEK and Decentraland that have been around for much longer. Sandbox, one of the most well-back metaverse projects in crypto, is not far behind.
Radio Caca is working with the USM Lab to spread the hype around the some of the best universities in the world. Social media metrics are not substantive on a project’s value or production, but it does show how much hype has hit the Radio Caca train.
