Blockchain Monster Hunt is preparing for its launch. The announcement comes just a few short months from the company’s successful $3.8 million funding round in September.
Led by Animoca Brands with strategic investments from companies including Polygon, PNetwork, SkyVision, ChainBoost, GD10 Venture, Everse Capital, Polkastarter, MoonEdge, and more. Now, the fruits of that investment are about to be shared with the public.
“We are excited to announce that our mainnet is launched on 25 Jan 2022,” confirmed BCMHunt in a blog post on January 17. “The journey will start from here!!”
The game designers have spent considerable time perfecting the game mechanics. In particular the reward function has been designed to create fairness across the broad range of monsters available to players in the game.
The reward formulation not only creates fairness in our complicated and diverse monsters world but also motivate early-stage players to get along and improve in the game.
The designers believe they have also struck the right balance in mechanics which will allow early-stage players to join and improve even once the game has been running for considerable time.
What is Blockchain Monster Hunt?
Blockchain Monster Hunt (BCMH) bills itself as the world’s first multi-chain game to run entirely on the blockchain itself. Inspired by Pokémon-GO, BCMH allows players to continuously explore brand-new places on the blockchain to hunt and battle monsters. Each block on the blockchain is a unique digital space where a limited number of monsters (of the same DNA gene and rarity) may exist. Players and collectors can hunt or battle for a chance to capture these unique monsters and to earn coins.
