Yield optimizer AutoShark has integrated Chainlink VRF (Verifiable Random Function) to enable rarity boosts for their Snide Shark NFT collection.
Thanks to Chainlink VRF, AutoShark now has access to a tamper-proof and auditable source of randomness. This will help ensure a fair and verifiable NFT upgrade system.
“We’re excited to enhance our smart contracts by Chainlinking our NFT farming gameplay system through a seamless and easy integration process,” AutoShark said in a press release on September 22nd. “Users of AutoShark can now have stronger assurances that the NFT creation and upgrade system works in a provably fair, transparent, and tamper-proof manner.”
Ensuring the probity of the upgrade system is of paramount importance to AutoShark since the amount of farming boost users can receive is proportional to the rarity of their NFT. The Snide Shark collection enables users to collect and upgrade their sharks through the Deep Sea Forge. The forge invites users to merge two shark NFTs and a hammer NFT to mint a single, rarer shark NFT.
