A Marketplace for All
Play-to-earn GameFi protocol, CryptoBlades has launched a new product for its ecosystem. The protocol’s latest utility is the Bazaar NFT marketplace which aims to be the marketplace of choice for NFT creators and projects.
Earlier on February 9, CryptoBlades teased its community of an upcoming update with a hype that it would be an innovation in crypto. The new product was finally unveiled on February 10:
“The Bazaar Marketplace Is Live! @TheBazaarMP integrates a completely new UI and trading experience! It was built on the idea and the potential to overtake LooksRare and OpenSea!,” CryptoBlades announced in a tweet.
During a Twitch live stream with the CryptoBlades community, the CEO, Philip Devine, gave an outline of Bazaar’s lofty mission:
“I’m super excited to unveil the Bazaar marketplace, which is our open multi-chain partnered NFT marketplace where we are going to be hosting all kinds of curated NFT collections. Our goal is to be the Opensea of NFT gaming. You’re going to start seeing headlines all over the crypto space that the Bazaar marketplace is taking down one NFT marketplace after another with respect to users,” the CEO stated.
The feature of Bazaar that stands out is that it potentially takes away the need for NFT-based projects to have a marketplace of their own. All that those projects need to do is to buy space on Bazaar using CryproBlades’ $SKILL token and host their NFT collections on their space, much like plug-and-play. NFTs listed on the marketplace can also be filtered or sorted according to various criteria.
It is pretty ambitious to disrupt an NFT market that has established heavyweights such as the NFT marketplaces of Opensea, LooksRare, Binance etc. Any hopes of usurping the market could depend on the value that market participants will place on the utility of Bazaar NFT marketplace’s novel features.
What is CryptoBlades?
CryptoBlades is a web-based NFT role-playing game. Initially launched on Binance Smart Chain, the game has expanded to Polygon, OkEx, and HECO blockchains. Like most NFT gaming platforms, CryptoBlades issues its native $SKILL tokens to participants as in-game rewards. The game has received backing from notable names like Binance, IGN, and Steam. It was also one of the winners in the Binance Most Valuable Builder II program.
