Binance would airdrop 280,000 ALPINE Fan Tokens to celebrate its first partnership deal with a formula 1 team.
Binance Seals First Formula 1 Partnership Deal
Binance has partnered with BWT Alpine Formula 1 team to launch a Fan Token. As a result, Alpine would become the first Formula 1 team to join Binance’s Fan Token Platform. Hence, Binance is now the official Fan Token partner of the Formula 1 team.
After securing deals with soccer teams like Lazio, Porto, and Santos, Binance ventures into the Formula 1 space, ahead of the new season set to commence in March. The world’s leading blockchain ecosystem and digital asset exchange announced the partnership on February 15 through its official Twitter account.
“#Binance announces a partnership with the @AlpineF1Team, making them the first Formula 1 team to become a @BinanceFanToken partner,” Binance tweeted.
Binance would launch the ALPINE token via its launchpad following the partnership announcement. The token would be available to Binance users and the Binance Fan Token community via P2P, bank card purchases, and spot.
Additionally, Binance would airdrop 280,000 ALPINE Fan tokens to reward the team’s fans and the Binance community. The tokens would be distributed to BWT Alpine Team’s newsletter subscribers, BNB holders, and Binance Fan Token holders, including LAZIO, PORTO, and SANTOS holders. A Leading Ecosystem
Binance has developed a strategy to keep its place as a leading name by committing to sports. Most recently, the Centralized Exchange (CEX) announced its partnership agreement to become the official sponsor of the biggest competition in African football, AFCON.
Previously, Binance generated interest from football fans and the crypto community by launching fan tokens of two elite teams, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Juventus (JUV). The latest move to establish a fan token in formula one is another game-changer for the leading blockchain as it would attract more formula 1 fans to its ecosystem.
With many traditional sports and Esports industries engaging the world of sports, Binance may explore more sports, launch more fan tokens, and keep expanding its ecosystem across the globe.
