XMINE’s services have enjoyed another boost in their latest Chainlink VRF integration.
XMINE Enjoys Milestone Integration
BSC DeFi farming and staking project XMINE has officially announced that it will be integrating Chainlink Verifiable Random Function (VRF).
Confirmation of the announcement came via an exclusive press release obtained by BSC News on February 9. The team at XMINE were very pleased to have ensured the integration which will have a hugely beneficial impact on the different services the project offers users.
“By integrating the industry-leading decentralized oracle network, we now have access to a tamper-proof and auditable source of randomness needed for transparent winner selection in the XMINE Lucky draw,” the XMINE team explained in the press release. “Ultimately this creates a more exciting and transparent user experience, as users can play round after round of their lucky draw game on xhash.farm with high assurances of random winner selection.”
This notion of ‘randomness’ is intrinsic to ensuring a fair system that users retain trust in. Chainlink’s VRF will be utilized through the project’s offering of Xhash, a self-sustaining token backed up by ASIC mining machines. Xhash rewards holders from mining machine-generated pools, so rewards continuously increase based on the number of machines.
With XMINE also planning to develop an NFT marketplace and game on its platform, Chainlink VRF was a must.
“In order to build truly random and transparent winner selection processes for lucky draw games on xhash.farm, we needed access to a secure random number generator (RNG) that any user could independently audit. However, RNG solutions for smart contracts require several security considerations to prevent manipulation and ensure system integrity,” the team went on to explain, further underlining the importance in integrating Chainlink VRF.
With many projects on the Binance Smart Chain ecosystem opting for the integration, the hope is that the space will offer more security and trust as a whole. BSC News will be following closely to see the impact of the series of integrations.
