Wombat Exchange Prepares for Beta
Following its Testnet launch, Wombat Exchange has turned its attention toward releasing its mainnet Beta application to the public. The protocol is entirely focused on developing its groundbreaking multichain stableswap product.
Most recently, the platform raised $5.25M from a funding round led by top blockchain firms in a bid to develop its product. After the incentivization, Wombat Exchange unveiled its testnet, which users tested for two weeks to detect bugs ahead of the Beta mainnet launch. The testnet was launched on March 21, and judging by the protocol’s tweet on April 3, users gave productive feedback.
“The 2-week testnet period has ended. Thanks everyone for our valuable feedback! We’ll take these insights to improve our app for the Wombat community at our Beta Launch,” Wombat wrote on Twitter.
It is believed that the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) platform now knows the changes that need to be made to develop an excellent product on BNB Chain. The Wombat team will now work on the insights, and BSC News expects the Beta version to go live shortly. However, the application’s release may depend on the number of issues discovered by users during the testnet phase. Additionally, the Beta version may come sooner if users did not encounter serious problems. Moreover, the Beta launch is the first of Wombat’s plans, according to its Q2 Roadmap displayed on its website.
