Excuse the pun. With the relatively new notion of NSFW Coins, the hope will be that they will last long enough to tap into a market with a lot of potential.
According to market research carried out by Ibis World, the past five years have seen a 13.8% growth in the online adult industry in the US. Evolving crypto projects have looked to take advantage of this.

But, while the excitement builds, many will be cautious, noting not only the repeated glances CumRocket’s CEO affords her notes while explaining her project but also the fact NSFW coins are very much in their infancy.
New Market But Is It Viable?
BSC.News recently reported the aims underlined on the PornRocket Whitepaper, which talks about ‘revolutionizing’ the distribution and consumption of pornographic content.
CumRocket and PornRocket are looking to revolutionize an industry where the exploitation of performers is commonplace. With adult performers being rebranded as ‘content creators,’ there is the opportunity to do this.
NFT’s, and their notions of ownership, strengthen the position of exploited performers who piece together the much sought-after content.
Redistributing the power dynamic in an industry that has been crying out for it is undoubtedly a noble aim, but it does nothing to reassure skeptical market analysts.
Room For Growth?
The fact these are micro-capitalization tokens is probably the most optimistic tone one can strike, but it is a double-edged sword.
With $PornRocket having already garnered over 65K holders and having been audited by Certik, the quick progress is indicative of a definitive and willing market. However, the fact that it is so early on increases the risk factor.
The crypto space is evolving, and projects live and die by what they offer- not only investors but the world around us.
NSFW coins seem to have identified laudable ideals, but are they enough to survive in such a volatile space? We’ll be following as developments continue.
