Official Disney NFTs have exclusively dropped for the VeVe users lucky enough to get their hands on them. From The Simpsons to your favorite Marvel moments, Disney is unloading major names for offer.
The collectibles were only able to be purchased via a blind box, meaning users will not have known which collectible or indeed the rarity of the NFT they were acquiring until after the drop. With NFTs from Marvel and Star Wars having already dropped today and yesterday, there is more to come.
“The Walt & Mickey “Partners” NFT from Disney drops Friday, 12 November at 12PM PT, only on the VeVe app for iOS and Android,” VeVe’s official Medium blog confirms. [That is 20:00 UTC, for those wondering.]
The Disney Golden Moments collection features some of the most cherished characters globally and is likely to draw huge attention. The NFTs appear in all-gold and have a sheen to them, as illustrated above.
The ‘Partners Statue,’ pictured above, is due to be dropped November 12th and holds significance as Mickey Mouse was the character that allowed Walt Disney to pursue all that came after. The NFT forms a celebration of this unique moment, and details of the drop can be found below:
