1. Please introduce yourself and the team behind Unityswap.

My name is Luc Hijdra and I am the CEO of Unityswap. I started my career as a fundraiser in 2016 and troughout the years I worked for many charities like UNICEF, Clini Clowns, Save the Children and Amnesty International. During those years I learned a lot about the fundraising business, the strategies, and the people behind the scenes.

My goal is to revolutionize fundraising and make a a difference. In 2021 me and Robby started Unityswap and started with forming a team consisting of business coaches, technical advisors and people with experience in the NGO space. We have 11 people working for Unityswap at this moment and are still expanding!

2. What is Unityswap? What are you trying to accomplish with your platform and what are the core values?

Unityswap has invented the most unique way of helping charities with fundraising by tokenizing them with our decentralized donation generating smart contract. Our solution is actually pretty simple: Unityswap helps charities by creating their own crypto currency that everyone can trade. With every transaction, 1% is instantly donated to the charity that you are trading.

Each charity has their own token provided by Unityswap. We think that tokenizing charities is a solution for digital fundraising, getting in touch with the younger generation and becoming more transparent. Unityswap is founded out passion for supporting charities and concerns for global issues. Therefore, we charge the charities nothing for our tokenizing services.

3. What is $UNITY? Can you tell us about tokenomics?

Our exchange token $UNITY will have a lot of benefits on the DEX and NFT marketplace. People will need our exchange token to participate in many features. When trading $UNITY you are automatically donating to all our partnered charities at the same time.

Also all charity tokens will be paired with $UNITY. So in order to buy a charity token you will need $UNITY to do so. There is also a distribution fee which rewards users that are holding the token.

4. How does Unityswap work?

So how does it work? After we officially collaborated with Amnesty International for example, we help them with implementing crypto in their organisation. We do this by giving them legal and tax advice from our direct partners so the transition becomes much easier. After we have done this, we add their own wallet address into the donation fee in the smart contract of their own token. Now we have created a completely decentralized and automated way of fundraising ⚙️

5. Please tell us about the benefits and advantages of buying a charity token.

Firstly, branding. The most simple and effective way of marketing. Why are people spending hundreds of dollars for a plain white tee or a pair of shoes? Because of branding. Most charity organisations have been building up their trustworthiness and popularity for more than 30 years, they have spent billions on campaigns, advertisements and all types of other promotions.

Our company can help them to use all their efforts to maximize contributions and reach a younger audience.

Secondly: Trade and earn. Traders are being rewarded for trading. When people trade a certain amount, they will get exclusive access to airdrops, NFTs or presales. We have created this reward structure because trading volume generates donations and benefits the charity.

Our decentralized exchange will have multiple features that benefit the trader and the charity at the same time. Stake & Donate and Farm & Donate are one of them. How does this work? If you stake a Save the Children token for example you will get a certain APY and 10% of those rewards are directly donated to Save the Children, both sides win 🙌🏼

6. Where are you on your roadmap? What kind of features are planned to be launched?

We are currently busy with the launch of $UNITY and the development of our platform including our NFT marketplace and DEX.

Our goal is to become one of the most important players in the fundraising business. We want to make sure that charities become more resilient and digital. What we want to proof is that blockchain can be used to directly benefit society. When working as a collective we can become one of the most important charity projects in DeFi.

7. Is your platform audited or has another safeguard layer in security? How can you ensure users that your platform is safe to use?

Yes! Safety is the number one priority for Unityswap and the charities that are going to be tokenized. $UNITY is already audited by Solidity Finance and our exchange and all charity tokens will be audited as well. Link:

Yes, we have confirmed the world’s first 2 charities that are being tokenized this year. Think about what this can mean for the general adoption of crypto when charities have their own token that contributes to society.  We are welcoming everyone that shares the same values as we as a project. There will be a last ICO round that will be launched next week, this will be announced on t.me/unityswapdex 🙌🏼
