TreeDefi AMA Recap

BSCDaily hosts TreeDefi: #TreeDefi #YieldFarming #CarbonMarket #BSCDaily #BSC

BSC_Daily Admin: Hello and welcome, how are you today?

Dragon Blood Tree: Heyy, doing great.

BSC_Daily Admin: Happy to hear! Ready to start our AMA?

Dragon Blood Tree: Yup let’s get it going!

Q1: Can you give us a general introduction of you and Tree Defi?

Dragon Blood Tree: I’m blood tree, and I’m one of the founders of the TreeDefi project. I am also fully doxxed at the moment and the rest of the team will come out too. I’ve worked in the startup world for a few years and did consultancy for companies. Crypto has always been a passion of mine, and after looking at several projects in the past year and investing into them me and my team thought that we could also come up with something creative and execute on some of the lacking features of other projects on the BSC. That’s how TreeDefi was born. The project is a DeFi Yield Farm on the BSC that is currently moving into the Carbon Credit market through various features we’re releasing, allowing users and companies to offset their activities in real life and transactions on the blockchain through our AMM.

We focus a lot on donating to tree planting organizations and currently we’re working on launching our own companies and purchasing land for planting purposes.

Q2: Please share with us the background of the team behind this project. What are your past experiences?

Dragon Blood Tree: As I said in the past we worked a lot with development, react native especially and we were very good with good website design. We had a software house, a consultancy firm and an organization that scouted for young entrepreneurial talent. We’ve participated to and won countless hackathons and we always tried to launch new projects and startups until we landed on this idea. In the real world it’s quite slow and hard to get a project off the ground. But thanks to the blockchain and the power of a solid community and retail traders it was much easier for us to find support here.

The current team has about 13 members, 5 of which are here in our offices in Italy and the rest around the world, helping us manage the project through various time zones.

Q3: Each project has interesting stories before it is created. How did you come up with the idea to create TreeDefi?

Dragon Blood Tree: Yeah actually we started development and testing on the project with no concept in mind. My colleague’s idea was to make a hype project that was sports car-themed. I thought it was stupid but ran along with it since we didn’t have anything else in mind. Then I just looked outside the window, saw trees and it clicked.

It started off as just using some of the profits to donate to tree planting organizations, but through the 5 months of activity we’ve had this far we developed that concept and we’re in contact with investment funds and other organizations to bring DeFi to the real world and innovate the current Carbon Credit market.

Q4: What makes Tree Defi different from other competitors?

Dragon Blood Tree: Lots of  Yield Farming projects exist just to make money. There is no real connection to the outside world with them. In our case Yield Farming was just the start and we’re opening several branches that will enrich the project, bringing more value to the initial investors, while attracting new faces, especially corporate ones, that will find a lot of value through our carbon footprint offset services.

We’re just trying to expand out of the current gimmick most projects are following, because in our mind 99% of them won’t make it far. Even currently the top 20 projects on the BSC are constantly changing, and many of the layer 1 projects are completely gone from the picture.

It’s a business sector where you have to be fast and creative, and we’re just in the beginning of it. So there’re endless opportunities for us here.

Q5: What are the major challenges of Tree Defi and how do you intend to solve them?

Dragon Blood Tree: There’re lots of challenges with a project like this. Time is one of them. The cryptocurrency world never sleeps so we forget to sleep too very often. It’s hard to manage a large team and a lot of freelancers at once. It’s hard to keep up to speed with everything that other projects are doing.

Currently, we’re setting up various companies for the project. Since most countries don’t have any legislation ready for a project like ours it was quite challenging to find the right corporate structure for a project like ours.

But the challenges are part of the fun. We’ve improved a lot as project managers and entrepreneurs during these 5 months and learned countless new skills. So challenge is not really an issue, we love tackling challenges.

We’re currently hiring more people to help us with specific areas of the project that we have to focus more intensely on and we’re trying to get as many people as we can to our HeadQuarters.

It’s becoming a hard management job, but we’re getting it done.

Q6: How does CO2 farming work? And what’s the reward Percentage? Can you tell us about your Audit?

Dragon Blood Tree: Okay. As far as our TCO2 token goes, users can receive it by holding NFTrees (our own NFTs that are backed by real-life planted trees, with metadata attached to the NFT). Each NFTree absorbs a certain amount of CO2 from the atmosphere each year, and that’s exactly the amount of TCO2 tokens that users will receive by holding the NFTree. The next step after that is the utility of the tokens.

Users will be able to use TCO2 to offset their transactions on our AMM coming out during the third week of September, and they’ll be able to create offset certificates for their activities with TCO2.

This could be a very powerful tool for companies, and we already have some green crypto mining companies looking at us.

We’ve been fully audited by Certik and we’ll keep working with them in the future for other releases. Besides Certik we work with lots of peer reviewers to ensure that each of our features is seen by a lot of intelligent eyes before it goes out into the world.

Q7: Let’s talk about partnerships & influencers that you are collaborating with.

Dragon Blood Tree: Sure. It’s quite hard to find any legitimate influencers in this sector haha. We’ve learned that the hard way in the past months. But we’ve been noticed by various people in the past 5 months. We try to work more off of our developments and documentation than full-on hype. That’s why you haven’t seen us shot into space or on Nicky Minaj’s Instagram stories. But we’ll have some fun stuff in the future too for sure.

As far as partnerships go we keep getting a lot of offers for them, but if we don’t believe in a project we won’t work with them. Currently, we’re eyeing Alpaca, we’re gonna release a Beefy Vault soon and we’re in good contact with Helmet.

It’s fun to release a lot of launch pools for users and give them some more farming opportunities.

But we always try to find some more meaning behind these partnerships.

As far as marketing goes we’re working on large press releases and we’re in close contact with our local branch of CoinTelegraph to help us manage all of that in the future.

Q8: Where can we find out more about TreeDefi on social media?

Dragon Blood Tree: You can follow us on Twitter for the latest updates about the project: twitter.com/treedefi

Telegram is also a great place where our managers or some of the founders can reply to your questions quickly: t.me/treedefi

And we recommend that you guys read our Whitepaper to learn everything about the project: whitepaper.treedefi.com

BSC_Daily Admin: With this, we are now at the end of our AMA session with TreeDefi.

Time for wrapping up, any last words you would like to say to our community?

Dragon Blood Tree: Thanks for joining in guys, I hope you find the project interesting and take some time to read the documentation and whitepaper especially, we put a lot of work into it. Lots of fun things to come. We’re also in the early stages of development for a game for the project. But more info on that later on.

BSC_Daily Admin: Thank you so much for spending time with our community & all the very best for TreeDefi.
