Thetan Looking Ahead

Thetan Arena, a BNB Chain GamFi protocol, appeared in the latest Twitter spaces hosted by BSCNews.

Hannie Tran, Thetan Arena’s Head of Business Development, represented the team during the interview that took place last April 14. The Thetan Arena official talked about their upcoming ESports tournament, Rise Of Helios, their recently launched Guild Accelerator Program, and new guild features that are coming to their platform during the thirty-minute talk with BSCNews.

“We already introduced the daily tournaments, and today we just released an exciting tournament for two regions, South East Asia and South America,” said the business development official of Thetan Arena. “We want to invite guilds [through the Guild Accelerator Program] to organize events so that their community can have a chance to play Thetan Arena. We have a lot of partners heavily invested in Thetan Arena and we want to help them in their Guild management process [through] the Guild Management Dashboard referred to in the Q2 Roadmap.”

Rise of Helios, the tournament that Tran mentioned, is one of the first ESports tournaments for the GameFi project that is being organized in partnership with Community Gaming. The tournament is focused on two major geographical regions, South America and South East Asia. The prize pool is $10,000 for each region. The South American leg will be held from April 23 to 24, while the South East Asian leg is from April 30 to May 1. Registration is still ongoing at the time of writing.

The focus shifted to guilds where Tran talked about two major features that the Thetan Arena team is focused on with regards to the topic. The first one is the Guild Accelerator Program, which targets larger guilds in their ecosystem. This program hopes to create a partnership between them and the guilds in helping build the Thetan Arena community through incentives that come from the program.

The second feature, which is still in development, is their Guild Dashboard, which Tran said was a Q2 target on their roadmap and will come out around June of this year. The Guild Dashboard feature is a management tool developed internally by the protocol to provide access to statistics specific to each guild. They’re looking to provide a way to track scholar performances, in terms of individual earnings or how each scholar performs with specific heroes.

Hannie Tran also talked about a variety of other topics centered around Thetan Arena. Listen to a recording of the twitter spaces for more details.

What is Thetan Arena?

Thetan Arena is a FreeToPlay PlayToEarn mobile game built on the BNB Chain. The MOBA game aims not just to be considered an Esports game, but also to connect crypto owners with streamers and gamers. They have a FreeToEarn model that allows players to earn Thetan Coins and Thetan Gems by investing time and effort using a free hero, Raidon, instead of investing money to purchase their own heroes.
