StepHero capitalizes on the Metaverse hype while rebranding their game as the HERO token airdrop becomes highly awaited by the community.
Massive Airdrop Coming Up
StepHero announced the rebranding of its game to ‘Step Hero Play-to-earn Multiverse’ via a Twitter post on Nov. 16.
The new multiverse will include a hub of many games with diverse gameplay and item systems using the STEP token, HERO token, and HERO NFTs which are at the core of the game’s ecosystems and create value for gamers and investors. StepHero’s ecosystem comprises a made-up fantasy-themed role-playing game, a cross-chained NFT marketplace, NFT collectibles, and the HERO token.
“With this rebrand, we officially transform our positioning from a single game into a play-to-earn multiverse where users have endless ways to earn money while enjoying various gameplay options. (..)This transformation will lay a solid foundation for a competitive, sustainable play-to-earn economy. Look forward to the first milestone marking this transformation!” mentioned the official Medium blog announcing the rebranding on Nov. 17.
Additionally, registrations of the airdrop of HERO tokens are open for another 12 days. This Airdrop program is hosted by CoinMarketCap, as per data from the game’s official Twitter account.
