ShadowSwap Launches First IFO on Core Chain

The protocol aims to bring value to the Core ecosystem by introducing more high-quality projects to users via IFO.

Bringing Value to Core Chain

ShadowSwap Decentralized Exchange (DEX) has announced its first Initial Farming Offering (IFO) on the Core network. The protocol is running an IFO for Crest Protocol, a decentralized naming service platform on Core DAO.

The IFO represents a huge milestone for the DEX, given that it is its first on the Layer-1 blockchain. The campaign allows users to purchase the Crest Protocol native $CPT token before launching it for trading, farming, and staking on its DEX. ShadowSwap’s first IFO went live on March 7.

BSC News discussed with the team following the successful launch. The DEX disclosed that the IFO was launched to add value to the secure, scalable, decentralized blockchain and grow its ecosystem.

“With our first IFO up and running, we are pumped with the progress so far. We will be aiming to launch more projects on Core. However, we will not just launch projects for the sake of launching; we will aim to introduce projects that can bring value to the Core chain and ShadowSwap,” the DEX wrote.

Moving forward, the team will launch more IFOs in the future:

“Through our launchpad, we are committed to introducing high-quality projects and helping them settle easily on the Core chain. We have a few more quality projects coming to ShadowSwap, so stay tuned,” ShadowSwap added.

Interested users should visit the Crest Protocol IFO page to learn how to participate and gain early access to the token before launch.
