SAFERmoon Integrates Chainlink VRF to Ensure Fairness in the SAFERsummer Event

Safety is a top priority considering the high value of the prizes being offered in the giveaway.

Cleared for Takeoff

SAFERmoon has chosen Chainlink and its Verifiable Random Function (VRF) to guarantee user safety and randomization for their upcoming SAFERsummer event.

The platform is holding a 6-week getaway where the grand prize is a trip on a Virgin Galactic space flight. The protocol announced the integration in a Medium blog post on July 23.

The SAFERmoon team stated in the post, “Ultimately, this integration ensures that SAFERmoon investors can enjoy the festivities with the guarantee that the prize-selection process will be transparent and fraud-proof.”

Importance of Security

The SAFERmoon team wants to make sure that the high-dollar prizes available are treated with the utmost security. When the value of prizes for giveaways is so high it is understandable that SAFERmoon would hail the security help of a group with a reputation like Chainlink.

The incorporation of the Chainlink VRF should ease all users who are looking for a safe investment. The VRF will add a tamper-proof and auditable source of randomness to the prize selections.

“After reviewing various solutions, we selected Chainlink VRF because it’s based on cutting-edge academic research,” the blog post read. “[It is] supported by Chainlink’s time-tested oracle infrastructure, and secured through the generation and on-chain verification of cryptographic proofs that guarantee the integrity of each random number supplied to smart contracts.”

To the Moon

The integration is cause for celebration before the real prizes begin to rain down. Users have every reason to be excited about the prizes offered thanks to their expensive price tags.

The main prize is a trip to space aboard a consumer spaceflight service like Virgin Galactic. Additional prizes included a vacation to the Maldives, a Lamborghini, and a laptop computer.

As these prizes are so valuable, making sure the giveaway is fairly-operated is crucial. Chainlink has earned a reputation for taking security very seriously, making them a quality choice to ensure fairness.

Safety is a Priority

Safermoon takes security seriously just like Chainlink. The protocol’s future launchpad is designed to allow a project owner with any level of expertise to create a non-exploitable token. The combined efforts of Chainlink and Safermoon will lead to a very safe giveaway and a safe progression through the roadmap.

What is Chainlink

Chainlink is the leading standard oracle network for powering hybrid smart contracts in Decentralized Finance (DeFi). Its decentralized oracle networks provide developers with the largest collection of high-quality data sources and secure off-chain computations to expand the capabilities of smart contracts on any blockchain. Chainlink is run by a global, decentralized community that controls billions of dollars in value for smart contracts across DeFi, insurance, gaming, and other major industries. The protocol is trusted by hundreds of organizations, from global enterprises to projects at the forefront of the blockchain economy, to deliver definitive truth via secure, reliable oracle networks.

What is SAFERmoon

SAFERmoon is a utility-focused, audited static reward token on Binance Smart Chain (BSC). The future SAFERmoon launchpad will allow project owners with any level of technical ability to securely create and launch new tokens on BSC. Investors can browse and track a selection of audited tokens, receiving alerts as soon as any project owner initiates a change in the contract that might affect their investment. So far over 21,000 unique users have invested in SAFERmoon and utilized SAFERmoon’s fee-free staking to earn staking rewards on top of their static rewards.
