SafeMoon hints that the SafeMoon Wallet has completed all its necessary R&D checkpoints and now gears up for a global launch.
Is the SafeMoon Wallet Ready to Launch?
SafeMoon has released a new video that hints at an upcoming global launch of the SafeMoon Wallet. The new video showcased the SafeMoon Wallet’s developmental progress or “process” and concluded with “Next Up…Full Access Global Launch.”
Released on July 27th via Twitter, the video is largely being interpreted by the SafeMoon community to mean that there are no further steps or developmental phases that SafeMoon Wallet needs to go through.
This would mean the Wallet is now ready for the IOS and Android app store. The video teaser suggests such a conclusion. SafeMoon CEO John Karony has been continuously keeping the community updated on how SafeMoon’s Wallet development is going.
“The #SAFEMOONWALLET is going great,” said Karony in a recent tweet from early July.
There is currently no set date for when the SafeMoon Wallet will officially launch.
SafeMoon for some time has been teasing the SafeMoon Wallet concept. Within the last month, the SafeMoon platform announced new SafeMoon merch as well as a video teasing the SafeMoon Wallet.
What is SafeMoon
The SafeMoon protocol is a community-driven, fairly launched Decentralized Finance (DeFi) token. Three simple functions occur during each trade: Reflection, LP Acquisition, and Burn. SafeMoon is an altcoin: a blockchain-based digital currency similar to Bitcoin, but with distinctions. It launched in March 2021 and has already racked up over 2 million users.
SafeMoon’s unique feature is that it charges a 10% fee to anyone who sells their tokens; 5% of this fee is then redistributed to all other SafeMoon owners, essentially rewarding those who hang onto their tokens and disincentivizing selling.
