The SafeMoon Wallet Is Ready For Launch
The SafeMoon platform has been teasing their SafeMoon Walletfor some time, yet now it seems the SafeMoon Wallet is ready to move from the beta phase towards global launch.
SafeMoon CEO John Karony and COO Jack Haines announced on their SafeMoon Sunday twitch stream that the SafeMoon Wallet will be launching on August 28th, 2021. The SafeMoon duo expressed their desire to ‘do things the right way’ and told users why releasing the highly anticipated product took time.
“SafeMoon will launch on August 28th, and we can’t wait for you to see it.” COO of SafeMoon Jack Haines said during the AMA.
The SafeMoon team has finally responded to the wave of questions asking SafeMoon ‘when will the SafeMoon Wallet be released’? Although the SafeMoon duo answered the one major question, in typical SafeMoon fashion, they simultaneously announced a huge number of updates and products coming to SafeMoon before the end of 2021.
Update to SafeMoon’s Roadmap (or Key Moments)
Karony and Haines, aside from announcing the SafeMoon Wallet feature, also announced the upcoming roadmap for SafeMoon. Shown below are the key updates or moments that SafeMoon plans to release soon.
Version 2 of SafeMoon is coming in September
SafeMoon is now cross-chain (with Ethereum) and has more bridges coming (WAX and EOS in September)
SafeMoon will take token listing applications in September
SafeMoon in October will launch the SafeMoon exchange, aiming to host 3000 transaction simultaneously
In November, SafeMoon plans to launch the SafeMoon podcast
SafeMoon intends to launch the ‘SafeMoon blockchain’ in December
The Gambia Operation / Operation Phoenix Update will also be given in December
The SafeMoon team also detailed some notable updates, such as SafeMoon is no longer labeled a Memecoin on CoinMarketCap. The team also clarified that in future SafeMoon Sundays (currently planned to happen bi-weekly), the team plans to cover the updates/upcoming updates more in-depth.

What is SafeMoon
The SafeMoon protocol is a community-driven, fairly launched Decentralized Finance (DeFi) token. Three simple functions occur during each trade: Reflection, LP Acquisition, and Burn. SafeMoon is an altcoin: a blockchain-based digital currency similar to Bitcoin, but with distinctions. It launched in March 2021 and has already racked up over 2 million users.
SafeMoon’s unique feature is that it charges a 10% fee to anyone who sells their tokens; 5% of this fee is then redistributed to all other SafeMoon owners, essentially rewarding those who hang onto their tokens and disincentivizing selling.
