Q1: Now to start the AMA, team RIDOTTO please have a quick introduction to the community. Why did you choose your project’s name as RIDOTTO?
Fayrouz: Ridotto is the very first cross-chain gambling & lottery protocol.
Built on Cardano, it will be based on complete transparency, anonymity, security, and fairness, and will be community-driven to the core.
Beyond rolling off the tongue in classic Italian fashion, Ridotto is a word with deep cultural and historical ties. Strictly, it means “private room”; but originally it comes from a wing, known by the same name, in Venice’s famed Palazzo Dandolo. Dating all the way back to the fourteenth century, the Palazzo secured its place in history through the Ridotto wing, known by gambling institutions everywhere as the site of the West’s first public casino.
That’s why we named it Ridotto, to continue the tradition of making history’s oldest pastime accessible.
Q2: Please share with us the background of the team behind this project. What are your past experiences?
Mohammed: I am Mohammed, CEO & CTO of Ridotto. I am a Blockchain and Cloud Architect. I have worked for leading global financial institutions (Société Générale and BNP Paribas) as a Cloud Architect and an open-source evangelist.
Fayrouz: I’m Fayrouz, the co-founder and CMO of Ridotto. I have a marketing background, I have orchestrated successful launches for several brands worldwide, developed and implemented digital marketing, communication and partnership strategies in leading companies such as L’Oréal, Nestlé and Mondelez International. I have been in crypto since 2017, I am fascinated about blockchain technology and values. I believe it’s revolutionary for giving back the power to people.

Q3: Why did you choose to build your project on Carnado?
Fayrouz: Cardano’s distinctive two-layered architecture will be crucial to the integrity of Ridotto’s ability to grow and offer security. Also, importantly for a gambling protocol, Cardano’s ability to offer a high volume of low-cost transactions, will allow us to be the first real crypto casino to meet popular demand.
It’s also a strategic move because we are the first gambling and lottery protocol in Cardano, listed by IOHK under the gaming and entertainment section.
Q4: Can you share more about your All-in-one APP?
Fayrouz: The Ridotto platform is an all-in-one app that provides a vibrant and entertaining unique gaming experience. Its user-friendly interface gives users easy access to their favorite games, pools & their non-custodial wallet.
Q5: Let’s dive into the $RDT tokens. Which kind of role does $RDT have within your ecosystem?
Mohammed: RDT is the native utility and governance token that powers the Ridotto lottery and gambling protocol. Fees, liquidity, staking, and the multiplier will be indexed on RDT.
Three main utilities :
Governance: The ecosystem will be driven by the Ridotto community. As a token holder, you will suggest or vote on proposals
Ecosystem fees: The protocol fees will be paid using the Ridotto token (eg manage the lifecycle of the games)
Multiplier: Earn extra rewards by using the Ridotto token.
Q6: Can you share with us about your partnerships & influencers you are collaborating with?
Fayrouz: this is a quick overview of all private investors + KOLs. We are also partners with NETVRK, CHARLI3, GERO WALLET, MORALIS etc.
Q7: Kindly share with us your roadmap in next 6 months.
Fayrouz: Our Roadmap is accessible in our whitepaper, for anyone who wants a more detailed run-through; but at a high level.
The reminder of this quarter, our focus is on launching the token successfully, and building with both institutional investors and the larger Ridotto community aligned with our vision. On a more technical level, our goal will be to develop our MVP: which will be a lottery and slot machine protocol dedicated to our partners.
In Q4, we will release this minimum viable product, and will continue to community build by offering our slot/and lottery to partnering communities. Our secondary objective is to secure regulatory compliance so that we’re clear to operate in all the ways we envision, and to release our no-loss lottery game on Cardano. We’ll also develop cross-chain bridges and roll out the first batch of CEX listings.
In Q1 and 2 of 2022, the fun will really begin – Ridotto will release and audit the second set of genuine casino games and integrate the partnerships that will give the platform a deeper level of robustness and accessibility.
Then in Q3, we will launch our game incubator, start the bug bounty program, and bring our community members in for the beta.
Finally in Q4, we’ll release the dApp publicly and launch the beta of the Ridotto lab. We’ll also add more chains to connect with Ridotto’s casino, and excitingly begin development on the virtual casino product.
