The latest partnership for a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) collection from Featured By Binance is apropos of the current international frenzy over the Korean Netflix show, Squid Game. The move grows the diverse ecosystem of collections on the Featured Marketplace.
Feature By Binance has partnered with SBSMediaNet for its popular Korean music television show, The Show. The partnership will include NFTs made from the winning K-Pop stars who are crowned on the Show following performances.

The Featured CEO expressed a very bullish mentality in the press release towards the popularity of Korean culture. The excitement was well reciprocated by the partners, who indicated enthusiasm to join a new and burgeoning industry. Sometimes these niche cultural phenomena can be a huge hit.
“We are delighted to enter the new market with endless opportunities with leading kpop artists. Through the blockchain technology that breaks down the border, K-pop will be introduced towards more fans around the world, making it even more global. Also, through our collaboration with KStarLive and FEATURED, we’ll create a new genre of K-pop content called NFT to fans and people around the world and achieve a greater spread of the Hallyu,” said Sangsu Lee, the Senior Vice President of ‘SBSMediaNet.’
The deal also came through with the support of KStarLive, a Korean entertainment group. The Show airs on the SBS MTV channel every Tuesday.
NFT Release Details
No release date has been announced but Featured teased fans of what is to come on social media. The CEO of Featured to Binance, Teck Chia, blogged earlier this month to hype the upcoming connection between K-pop and NFTs.
“In this campaign, you’ll be able to purchase NFT photocard-styled official clips of 5 different teams here on the Featured platform,” Chia wrote.
Chia detailed in his blog how the NFTs will be distributed and divided. As with nearly all NFTs, there will be different tiers of rarity which represent the value.
“Each ‘THE SHOW’ FanBox NFT will contain one exclusive memory NFT that you can add to your collection. Furthermore, users stand a chance to acquire any of the five rarity types when purchasing the NFT, which range from ‘Normal’ to ‘Legendary,’” reads the blog.
