It has been a while since we have released written communication, and we apologize for the delay. There are many exciting things that have been happening in the RELIC development cycle which we want to share with you.
We wanted so badly to release RELIC on BSC last month (December), but due to complications in development and last minute design decisions for our DAPP, we thought it would be best to delay our release so that the community can get a thoroughly tested application and we wouldn’t have to release too many bug patches in the coming weeks. As we have been communicating via our youtube channel, we now have a Dapp which contains all the functionality in one place. The only missing part of our existing eco system which didn’t get migrated is Relicity. We are planning to bring that over after our first release, and will remain only on ETH for now.
If you look at the screen shot below, we have various links in our Dapp that will connect various aspects of RELIC. Our bridge is the most exciting piece of this release, because this will allow us to not inflate our RELIC supply, and make sure our tokenomics won’t reduce the value of RELIC. The opportunities for DeFi are now greater because RELIC can be used to jump in and out of Ethereum and Binance. After we release RELIC on BSC, we will do a thorough evaluation of what blockchain we can bridge to next so that we can run various DeFi strategies on other blockchains.
Our Dapp is also getting a little bit of a makeover, and will be simpler so users can claim their reflections and review their reflection history.
We are planning to do a dark release to the mainnets, which means we will do production testing for a few days and then announce it on twitter. Here is our plan:
1. Release the Ethereum Bridge Smart Contract on Ethereum.
2. Release the BSC Relic Token contract on Binance.
3. Bridge over ETH RELIC to BSC Mainnet. This will lock up RELIC on Ethereum mainnet.
4. Create the BSC RELIC/BNB liquidity pool on pancake Swap
5. Place a few orders and test bridging back to Ethereum.
Testing will be happening for the next 2 weeks, which will lead us into almost the end of January. Then after, in the first week of February we will start our production release.
As a reminder, although RELIC will be minted on the BSC chain, it will be locked on the Ethereum mainnet escrow contract, which allows us to avoid any inflationary devaluation.
