The co-founder of MOBOX, Soon, stopped by the DeFi Direct YouTube channel for the latest edition of the livestreams with Greg, Goon Trades. The event, albeit short, proved to be an exciting episode as MOBOX unveiled the official BSC News Momo to the community.
The move to create a rare BSC News-themed Momo continues the exciting partnership between our team and MOBOX as we move to use the versatile, interoperable Momo in another round of the Traders to Gamer Series. Greg, Goon Trades, said it would be a great addition to have a custom Momo to play in the MOBOX universe.
“I want to thank the team at MOBOX for making this happen,” Greg said to Soon in the podcast. “Moving forward it is definitely fun to have our own little footprint in the ecosystem.”
The episode also saw another bit of exciting news dropped by Soon. The MOBOX team is well on its way to launching a new PlaytoEarn game in its ecosystem. According to Soon, the release of Chainz Arena: Mobox Edition public alpha version is coming as soon as next week.
The new game should have more gameplay and content than the previous games in the MOBOX ecosystem. The new game was in development before the MOBOX team added blockchain features. It will be a digital trading card RPG battle game.
Users should expect to see more from MOBOX in the coming year as they build out the ecosystem. The MOBOX team appears committed to growing on Binance Smart Chain, and they see it as the chain for gamers.
“If you see our stats […] we’re getting tens of thousands of users daily on Binance Smart Chain,” Soon explained. “This was not possible on Ethereum or Tron at the same time […] Now, we see BSC has a lot of users who want to play games.”
