Hours after RealFevr’s exciting revelation of an upcoming NFT game, they announced their Portuguese Fantasy League will be partnering with Dutch giant, Heineken.

Football fans and RealFevr users will be offered the chance to utilize their RealFevr NFTs in a play-to-earn game and challenge for the chance to win more of their native token, $FEVR.
The exciting news from RealFevr shows another step by its team to expand the use cases of their NFTs. The announcement was made via Twitter on the 8th of September, with RealFevr hinting at further development.
“We are excited to announce that our team is now developing a NEW #NFT Football Game that will completely shake up the crypto space,’ the tweet reads. “Soon you will be able to use your RealFevr NFTs in-game and compete for $FEVR! The #Play2Earn revolution is just getting started!”
The development means NFTs are acquiring further utility, allowing users to deploy them for a chance to earn tokens and by virtue dollars. If RealFevr can combine a game for its NFTs and Fantasy leagues, it could provide a fun option that would build incredible value to its NFTs and $FEVR.
Reputable Partnership Announced
Alongside the GameFi announcement, RealFevr also revealed that they would be partnering with Heineken as the official sponsor of RealFevr’s ‘Champions Fantasy’ in Portugal. Heineken has real pedigree when it comes to partnering with footballing entities, and the move is an indication of RealFevr’s growing reputation.
“Regarding Fevr token, I want to explore as many business opportunities as possible instead of being just focused on what we have today,” CEO Fred Antunes said in a community update from August 27th. “I’m the guy that’s looking for more business opportunities and as many use cases as possible. Don’t be surprised if you see something a little different from RealFevr soon.”
The second announcement came on Twitter just hours after the GameFi news was revealed, and the reaction was favorable, with many willing for partnerships to keep expanding. RealFevr’s ability to attract a broad range of partners will no doubt have a massive impact on their development.
