POCOLAND continue to make important progress as it integrates crypto heavyweight

POCOLAND has officially announced that their NFT-based P2E game has integrated Chainlink Price Feeds and Chainlink VRF on the Binance Smart Chain mainnet.
In an official Medium announcement on October 18th, POCOLAND explained that the integration with the industry-leading decentralized oracle would allow access to high-quality market data necessary for the real-time pricing of BUSD and BNB for the NFT marketplace.
“Now, users can securely purchase characters, equipment, and other items using BUSD and BNB as their collateral, with each transaction backed by highly accurate and reliable conversion rates,” the team explained. “Chainlink VRF provides randomness to POCOLAND’s in-game breeding mechanism, helping to ensure that each user has a fair chance to mint the rare Pocos.”
The latest announcement is likely to improve the gaming experience for users and ensure that the Poco NFT Marketplace operates seamlessly.
The Poco NFT Marketplace is the backbone for the project, where users can mint and trade assets such as characters, equipment, and other in-game items. Players are effectively invited to trade with one another to form a formidable team of Poco characters and then selling assets to provide collateral for the chance to mint rare/epic Pocos. The team recognizes the importance of making sure their marketplace is as strong as possible:
“Since we wanted our game to be fair for all users, we integrated Chainlink VRF’s RNG for provably random minting to help ensure that the rarest Pocos are distributed fairly according to probability,” they explain in the official announcement.
Whether this latest integration will have a huge impact on the interest in the game is still yet to be seen, but we’ll be following closely to keep you informed it does indeed do so.
