Pegaxy AMA Recap

PlaytoEarn Daily hosts Pegaxy: #NFTs #Pegaxy #Metaverse #P2EDaily #P2EADVERTISEMENT

P2E Daily Admin:  Hello and welcome, how are you today?

Corey: Hey! Great! Thank you for having me!

P2E Daily Admin: Happy to hear! Ready to start our AMA?

Corey: For sure, let’s do this.

Q1: Now to start the AMA, team Pegaxy please have a quick introduction to the community.

Corey: Sure! Corey, myself! I am the CMO here at Pegaxy. I have been in/around crypto since the first 2017 bull run and since then never left. My background is in customer support/relations and digital marketing.

Q2: Please share with us the background of the team behind this project. What are your past experiences?

Corey: Our CEO Ken Pham has a long background in international business, working alongside many large corporations throughout China. His knowledge of international laws and legislation is extremely valuable to us.

Steve our CTO is a 10 year veteran within the gaming space, and is also the CTO of Appota, a Vietnamese company with a gaming arm that has a 14M user base. He brings background building DAPPs and obviously large-scale mobile gaming.

Q3: As we all know, every project has a few stories behind the scenes; so what made you decide to build Pegaxy?

Corey: Ken and Steve are the original idea creators! I actually met Steve through the Discord of F1 Delta Time just before they started writing the code for the game in early April! We definitely did not plan to work together, however the three of us over the last 7 months or more have proven that we make an effective team. Now being a team of over 30, there’s no looking back!

Q4: What makes Pegaxy different from other competitors? Kindly list down some key features.

Corey: I feel there is a very very big difference between NFT games and P2E games. Put simply, NFT games are games that have NFT’s in them and maybe a token (a good example is Plants vs Undead). However, a TRUE Play to Earn game would be something that is considered free to enter, that you can still earn from. The only game that has achieved this currently is Axie. Our competitive advantage is that our game perfectly adopted the economic system, and we are the second game to launch with this model.

Q5: Can you share us about your gameplay.

Corey: At its roots, we are a horse racing game. However, many compare us to ZED Run and DeRace, however there are a few standout differences.

– The game’s development is heavily focused on mobile.

 – The game will transition to a skill based game, requiring players to be good at the game instead of depending on luck. – We provide the automated and trustless scholarship system on the platform itself.

Q6: Let’s dive into your token $PGX. Can you share with us your tokenomics? What are the use cases? Does it get audited?

Corey: $PGX is our governance token, similar to that of $AXS in Axie. The $VIS token is the native utility token, similar to that of $SLP. The $PGX token is capped at 1B supply, whereas the $VIS token is an uncapped utility token designed to reward the users long term. The $PGX IDO will be held on the 20th of October (this month) – with a lot of details about to be announced. When it comes to making a P2E game properly, the reward token ($VIS or $SLP for example) also needs to have demand. It is a fact proven by the longevity of Axie Infinity (dual token economy) and the decline of Plants vs Undead (single token economy). Through smart, calculated and effective management of the game’s economy, we plan to provide to some degree, a stable income for those playing the game. And yes, the contracts and game are currently being audited as we speak, in preparation for launch.

Q7: Let’s talk about partnerships & influencers that you are collaborating with.

Corey: We are not taking a conventional marketing/shilling route. It should be noted that our economic model is a magnet for new user acquisition. However, our lead investors in our round are quite significant names within the industry, those being Crypto, com, Kyber Network and Shima Capital.

Q8: Can you share your Roadmap in the next 6 months?
