PancakeSwap Searching for “God-Tier Engineers” Offering Competitive Full-Time DeFi Jobs

The popular decentralized exchange is currently looking to fill three, full-time engineering roles.

The market-leading exchange on Binance Smart Chain is searching for a Blockchain QA Engineer, Solidity Engineer, and Senior Backend Engineer. The Job Details

According to the official company Twitter page, PancakeSwap are actively seeking “god-tier” engineers to help them build the future of DeFi.

For their Blockchain QA Engineer, they are searching for an applicant with a thorough understanding of how PancakeSwap works as well as experience writing automated tests for dApp frontends. This role will require the successful candidate to create the testing framework from scratch. The successful person must also be able to work autonomously and make important technical decisions without third-party intervention. It is also expected that Blockchain QA Engineer will monitor and test new features as they are rolled out, continually improving the testing frameworks. The salary for this role starts at $105,000 annually.

The Solidity Engineer will be required to write contracts in Solidity for the Ethereum blockchain and will hopefully have at least 5 years of relevant industry experience. This meaty role demands a capable problem solver and a coder who understands the tradeoff between efficient and readable code. An applicant who is familiar with Truffle, Waffle, and Hardhat, and the pros and cons of each will be at a significant advantage. The successful candidate for this role should also feel comfortable designing and implementing new features to further the scope and utility of PancakeSwap. The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 to $250,000.

The Senior Backend Engineer – JavaScript / TypeScript will work to create, design, scope, and estimate complex backend products and upgrades as well as envision products and features to improve PancakeSwap. This person will write clean code and have solid experience with GraphQL and subgraphs. Experience with Javascript testing tools is important as is a knowledge of Web3 and Ethereum nodes. Ideally, the applicant will also have NoSQL database experience, WebAssembly, and IPFS. The annual salary for this role is in the range of $120,000 to $160,000.
