The venture capital arm of OKEx has joined the Step Hero backers squad as a strategic investor in the project, bringing several benefits to the fantasy RPG NFT game.
OKEx and MEXC Deals
OKEx has joined Step Hero backers, supporting the company and its play to earn ecosystem. The fantasy-themed RPG game on Binance Smart Chain secured the additional funding from ‘OKEx Blockdream Ventures,’ the venture capital arm of the popular exchange.
The Step Hero token, $HERO, will also be listed on MEXC, another step toward recognition. According to Step Hero, OKEx brings more to the table than financial backing alone, with industry-relevant experience and resources a key component of the deal.
“OKEx Blockdream Ventures will provide top-notch resources, industry experience, and suggestions to support #StepHero development,” asserted a Step Hero tweet on August 19th.
Step Hero has previously won investment from Icetea Labs, a trusted incubator of blockchain businesses. Icetea Labs also advises Step Hero on strategic planning, fundraising, marketing, product development, and implementation. With the addition of OKEx, that team of advisors becomes stronger than ever.
The Step Hero token, $HERO, traded at around $1.67 on August 20th. The token was down from its all-time high of $2.00 that it reached earlier in the day. The 24-hour trading volume was over $30 Million––up 52%, according to CoinMarketCap. The token is rallying amidst the flood of institutional news.
