Oddblox Breathes New NFT Life to BSC
The first fully on-chain generative abstract NFT art series launched on the recently rebranded BNB Chain this Valentine’s Day. Oddblox’s mint of 4096 pieces is generated randomly by Chainlink’s Verifiable Random Function ensuring an aleatoric maximum.
The Oddblox mint kicked off at a price of .25 BNB, equivalent to just over $100. Each piece comes with a uniquely generated piece of art with different shapes and pastel-esque color palettes. The use of abstract negative space and contrasting shapes fill the pieces with myriad interpretive value.
“This collection is the first of its kind for the BSC. It is purely on-chain experimental art. Each piece is procedurally generated at mint with random placement of shapes and colors. It is up to you to interpret each Oddblox – kind of like a digital Rorschach Test,” Oddblox told BSC News.
As time has gone by with the mint, users have begun flocking to Twitter to show off the first few hundred Oddblox art pieces. The project is drawing NFT fans from across the BSC space who have found something truly organic and unique on the chain.
The Oddblox pieces are vectors to the real world that will allow them to be printed and are scalable to any medium. The arrival of the Oddblox pieces sent a wave of optimism through the BSC NFT space that something new and great has arrived.

Oddblox has informed the team that they have a few plans in the works for what to accomplish after the mint. The Oddblox series began from two friends seeing a gap in the NFT market on the Binance Smart Chain and the opportunity to bring generative on-chain art to a new space. Using a variety of shapes and color palettes, each Oddblox NFT is assembled on mint. The created image is then encoded and stored in the token. When you own the token you truly own the art. This allows the greatest flexibility for future use cases of the Oddblox NFT genesis series. The generated NFTs serve as a digital Rorschach test with the viewer projecting their interpretation of the forms.
