Q1: Now to start the AMA, please have a quick introduction to the community. What made you decide to build Oasis?
Imp: ProjectOasis is a metaverse game inspired by our childhood influences. Games like Maplestory and Stardew Valley are the main inspiration for the game. As for our motivation to build ProjectOasis: Team Oasis has been in the crypto space since 2017 and as a community of like-minded individuals, we wanted to share our experiences and insight and hope to make DeFi fun and intuitive for new and old users.
Q2: Please share with us the background of the team behind this project. What are your past experiences?
Imp: Team Oasis comprises 19 team members from around Southeast Asia. Our IT team has been developing smart contracts and games for the past 10 years while our marketing team has been in their respective industry for over 15 years.
Q3: What makes ProjectOasis different from other competitors? Kindly list down some key features.
Imp: ProjectOasis caters not just to gamers but investors as well. Besides a P2E model, we will be integrating various DeFi Dapps into our metaverse. Our goal is to be a one-stop center for DeFi.
Oasis NFTs are not mere JPEGs. They have real utility! Our NFTs are represented in Oasis as character avatars, you can make actions, customize your avatar and even potentially gain rewards from your NFT avatars.
The Oasis is the first metaverse to have a launchpad inside it. Come and experience IDOs in a new way, gather in front of the launchpad building and discuss your opinion of an upcoming IDO or meet some new friends who might share similar interests
The social factor is very important in the Oasis, form groups and go on quests together or pool your resources to achieve greater goals.
Q4: Let’s dive into your token $OASIS. Can you share with us your tokenomics? What are the use cases? Does it get audited?
Imp: The token supply is limited to 14,000,000 tokens.
$OASIS can be used for the following:
As a governance token (participation in DAO)
To participate in Ola launchpad (priority + allocation)
Dividends from OASIS marketplace
Potential discounts paying with $OASIS
Our team has been completely KYC-ed and our smart contracts will be audited by one of the top auditing firms in the crypto space. We are also partnered up with a few trusted auditors. RD Auditors has done the full KYC of our team.
Q5: Can you share with us more about Legal & Risk Disclaimer?
Imp: Our disclaimers are there to protect our users and us. It is there to inform our users that we are not giving financial advice nor are we encouraging users to purchase any particular token. We want our users to do their own research before committing to anything.
Q6: Let’s talk about partnerships & influencers that you are collaborating with.
Imp: We have partnered up with RugDoctors and we have many more partners in the pipeline. Ken from RD Labs has also joined us as advisor.
As ProjectOasis aims to be a one-stop center for DeFi services, users can look forward to a strong team of advisors with expertise ranging from launchpads to security. We have partnered with the best in every field to build a safe and wholesome community
As for influencers, we are working on creating an “influencer zone” within Oasis so that influencers that we collaborate with have a place where they can share their content.
Q7: Can you share your Roadmap in the next 6 months?
Imp: We will be conducting our IDO early next month and once that is done, we will launch our metaverse.
Our metaverse will start off with basic DeFi functions such as swapping/staking. In Q4 2021, we plan to have our own Attributed NFT sale as well as starting up our Participate-to-Earn model. Our Play-to-Earn will come in Q1 2022.
