My DeFi Pet has formed a strong partnership with GameFi. Both protocols will combine to bring some exciting innovations for users, including introducing a Mysterious box containing exclusive Non-fungible token (NFT) collections.
MyDeFiPet announced the partnership on 20th September via Twitter. The tweet also posted the link to the partnership details published on Medium by GameFi’s editor, Jennie. According to the blog, the native token of My DeFi Pet, $DPET, will be used to sell a mysterious box on GameFi when the feature is launched.
“Through this collaboration, $DPET, My DeFi Pet native token will consider selling a mysterious box on GameFi at the time of this feature’s launch. In addition, My DeFi Pet will cooperate to implement a mechanism similar to Scholarship for DPET players on GameFi.” the Medium reads.
In addition, the partnership will be beneficial for DPET holders as they will enjoy some incentives when they utilize GameFi. In essence, both protocols will combine to implement a scholarship-like mechanism for DPET players on GameFi.
GameFi will also use its resources to promote the My DeFi Pet game. In addition, when DPET launches NFTs or opens an NFT staking pool, GameFi will ensure that its partner gains more adoption through support.
Maintaining Top Status on BSC and High Social Interest
According to GenX Analytics and Beng Beng gaming, My DeFi Pet is among the top ten Play-to-Earn games on Binance Smart Chain (BSC).
The NFT GameFi protocol, with its $DPET token had the second-highest number of holders, just shy of MOBOX protocol, according to Beng Beng’s tweet on 12th September. On the other hand, GenX Analytics’ tweet on 19th September disclosed the top BSC projects in terms of trading volume, and My DeFi Pet was among the featured NFT GameFi projects.

The $DPET token is worth $2.00 with a market cap of $13,729,936 and a circulating supply of 6,878,202 DPET coins, according to CoinMarketCap statistics. The price of $DPET has fallen sharply over the last month from a high of $5.86, and down even more over 90 days from $9.41 in June.
The DPET ecosystem has also seen significant social growth recently, reaching 200,000 members in its Filipino group on Facebook. This announcement was made on 20th September via Twitter.
