Munch to Bring Long Term Success
The charitable Munch Token has completed a round of fundraising of $140k worth of Ethereum for the Save the Children Fund. The impactful funding round also saw Munch become an official partner for Save the Children, including a donation page feature.
Munch Token announced the partnership officially on Twitter, whereby the $140k is surely just the beginning. The recent implementation of staking is one avenue that can hopefully lead to distributions for Munch’s charities.
Users have recently flocked to stake Munch tokens on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and on Ethereum (ETH) as a single asset and in liquidity pools. So far, the BSC pool is 99% full, and the Ethereum pool sits at 86% full, with users able to control the rewards distributed to the charity.
“Coincidentally, when you search “donate crypto” on google that is the very first result. This places MUNCH one the #1 page and top result as well,” Munch Team told BSC News in Exclusive comment.
Munch Token is pioneering the added utility of staking and re-distributing yield to charitable causes. The Munch community echoed the support of Save the Children, as the response to the staking has been strong:

Munch Token has larger goals on the horizon, and Save the Children is just the beginning. There is a growing charitable consortium that Munch will expand to add customizable donations, but it appears the team is focused on accessibility and platform liquidity.

We’ve brought in 2 extra developers on board so we can roll this next feature out as quickly as possible,” BSC News learned from Munch. “We’ve already completed the main functions on test-net and are working on streamlining the entire process to make it as user-friendly as possible.”
The self-sustaining funding model is not far off. Munch could be on the verge––with the help of other tokens––of help creating a charitable ecosystem undependable upon the philanthropic whims of billionaires or the fickle motivations of government.
