Project Galaxy announces NFT badges for MVB winners
Project Galaxy announced that they would be collaborating with Binance Smart Chain (BSC) to reward the winners of the Most Valuable Builder Program (MVB) III program with exclusive Non-fungible Token (NFT) badges, beginning from the Monthly Stars of August 2021.
Any winners of this round of the MVB program will also have access to exclusive benefits as a part of this collaboration, according to the announcement from Sep. 29, made by Galaxy Digital. These benefits include access to exclusive BSC conferences and events, industry networking with top infrastructures, and opportunities to be mentored by industry experts. Projects holding these badges would also have access to undisclosed leverage.
“MVB Season 3 is coming! Secure Infra, #GameFi, and advanced DeFi Legos will be new Focus. #BUILDing is an infinite game!,” said Changpeng Zhao, a.k.a. CZ, the CEO of Binance, on a Twitter post.
These NFT badges can be claimed on the campaign page of Project Galaxy’s website by connecting to the BSC ecosystem and hitting the “claim” button that will appear for eligible winners. However, these NFTs come with the disclaimer that the transfer of ownership of these NFTs would entail that the winners would be unable to redeem associated benefits from the BSC ecosystem.
MVB Program pushes innovation
The third round of the MVB program, MVB III: Beyond the Big Bang, was announced by Binance on Aug. 12, along with their MVB Incubation Program. The focus areas of this phase of the program would be on high-performance infrastructures like cross-chain Decentralized Finance (DeFi) composition, bridging Centralized Finance with DeFi, NFT & GameFi, and advanced NFT legos.
In this round, the MVB top player gets financial benefits of a $10,000 BSC Direct Grant and a total audit compensation of up to $10,000. In addition to these benefits, the best-performing projects also get other benefits like the opportunity for direct investment from and listing on Binance, security support, industry exposure, technical support, ramp up community influence, and also can secure funds for project development and incubation.
This program is the premier incubation program of the BSC ecosystem that aims to push innovation and progress to the BSC ecosystem as a whole. There will be a pick of “Monthly Stars” for August, September, and October that will be eligible for these NFT badges. The MVB Top Players will be announced on Nov. 25, 2021.
