Introduction
Popular Gamified NFT-based yield-farming platform, MOBOX, launched on the Binance Smart Chain in March 2021. Within one month after launch, the platform attained a total volume locked (TVL) of $250,000,000 and grossed over $25,000,000 in NFT trading volume.
Much of the early success of MOBOX can be attributed to the project team, which has vast experience in both mobile game and decentralized applications (dApps) development. The team from the outset wanted to bring innovation to the gamified NFT-space rather than replicating what another platform has done. They thus created MOBOX to be a free-to-play/play-to-earn fun and enjoyable game. With a very low barrier of entry and the extra incentive of yield-farming, MOBOX has attracted much interest from the gaming community.
In a further development of the project, the team has just announced the alpha testing of the MOMO Token Master.
What Is The MOMO Token Master?
The MOMO Token Master is the first NFT game on the MOBOX platform. It is the next milestone for the project, as captured in the roadmap.
The game is already running and can be accessed here. The alpha testing commenced on May 20 and will end on May 27 at 12.00 UTC.
What’s In It For Alpha Testers?
1. Each alpha tester will receive three common MOMOs to play the game with. MOMOs are the platform’s NFTs that a user uses to play games or stakes to earn. The 3 MOMOs given to each tester will only be for testing and cannot be sold.
2. To participate in the alpha test, players will need some of the platform’s native tokens, MBOX. However, every MBOX spent in the course of the alpha test will be fully refunded at the end of the program.
3. 50,000 MBOX tokens (worth more than $40,000 at the time of writing) will be granted during gameplay. The rewards will be distributed at the end of the test period.
How To Get Ready For The Alpha Program
Go to the platform’s website and click the ‘register’ tab to create a MOBOX account.
Select a username. Then enter your email address and complete the email verification.
Bind your Binance Smart Chain address from one of the compatible wallets displayed on the platform to your MOBOX account. Ensure that your chosen wallet is the one that has your MOMOs.
After creating an account and binding your address, click on ‘BOX’ on the homepage and deposit some BEP-20 MBOX into your deposit address.
