Q1: Now to start the AMA, team MIM please have a quick introduction to the community. Why did you choose your project’s name as MIM?
Kyonym: MIM’s name will make sense over time. Let’s just say it rhymes with something deep in the foundation of early crypto and bitcoin. It’s a name for the heads and the meme queens. We like mystery.
Q2: Please share with us the background of the team behind this project. What are your past experiences?
Kyonym: Our founding team has diverse backgrounds ranging from programming and cryptography to brand strategy and design, to music production and performance. We all have a life-long interest and experience with music and the music industry. Our willingness to challenge the music industry brought us together.
Q3: Can you share more about Swarm & Virtual artists?
Kyonym: Sure. They are distinct things, the swarm is made up of the community members who contribute in a manifold of ways – specifically, designing and realising music-centric projects with visuals, narratives and characters. A virtual artist is the culmination of this process – say for example, a virtual pop star with its storyline and musical trajectory who can explore different possibilities beyond human limitations/in the metaverse.
Q4: What makes MIM different from other competitors?
Kyonym: There are few competitors currently because this is a fairly new business. What makes us different is that our project is global, community-driven and built on blockchain tech. We can incentivize users and scale with Solana in a way that has never been seen before. MIM Swarmers just being the beginning of that.
Q5: Let’s dive into the $MIM tokens. Which kind of role does $MIM have within your ecosystem?
Kyonym: Well firstly, MIM is a reward token for the MIM swarm that also functions as a medium of exchange for MIM’s creations. Secondly, you can use the MIM token to purchase MIM products, reward fellow creators or purchase services from other MIM creators. We will continue to expand the use of the MIM token and eventually there will be an ecosystem around the token for creators and MIM members.
Q6: What are the benefits of being a part of the MIM swarm?
Kyonym: It’s quite rare for an individual to possess the diverse skill set required to create a rounded musical project and, at the opposite end, often creative individuals have great ideas but no real means/skills to realise them – so the idea of being amongst the swarm is to prioritise the creative vision and everyone along the way collaborates towards realising that, utilising their existing talents and learning yet more. Outside of the creative process, there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved in competitions, giveaways and generally have early access to projects we launch.
