Q1. Can you give us a general introduction of you and Memes token? Could you tell us your role in the project?
Rick: Indeed !
Memes Token is a new form of social network, aiming to be 100% decentralized and people-owned .
We’re planning to be the world’s first ownerless social network !
Also, we’re building a NFT Marketplace specialized around memes, as well as making a lot of really fun on-chain community incentives .
For myself, i’m the creator , owner , and main developper of the project .
Claudia: As for me, being a community centered token means that we rely on our community a lot, which needs a voice and a constant link to Rick. i am there to facilitate that and also help the community with ever issue they might have regarding $MEMES

Q2. How many team members do you have working with you? And can you also tell us their roles?
Rick: For now, there’s only Claudia and me as official team members , with me being the main developper and owner, and Claudia taking care of the community management and the organization of the deals and partnerships .
That being said , as a community made token, we have a lot of really involved community members who never fail to surprise us with their initiatives and opportunities

Q3. Can one earn more while holding Memes token?
Rick: Indeed !
Apart from the speculative value of the asset, we have a 2% tax that is redistributed to holders on each transaction, and we instantiated a deflationnary black hole by burning tokens, which reduces the circulating amount and increases the value of the tokens over time .
Q4. Can you tell us about how Memes Token works generally ?
Rick: Well, basically, the token is meant to be the main currency of the platform we’re making.
Creating / trading NFTs will be done through the use of the token , as well as some specific interactions with the platform ( participating in lotteries, tipping content creators , and many other fun things we’re planning to implement once the version 1.0 is live )
In one sentence : The Memes Token will be the heart of the Memes Central economy !
Q5. What are the Rewards in Memes Token?
Rick: I’m not sure i understand, could you be more specific please ?
Lola(AMA HOST): Sure. I mean benefits
Rick: Well, as i said, the token will be the main way to interact with the platform and participate in all the things we will propose .
We’re planning on a lot of features and activities for users to make the most out of there memes (and tokens) , but i won’t disclose too much right now as we’re still in development .
Though, we planned for games and other ways to earn things through the platform !
All of this whilst having the advantages of modern tokenomics, namely redistribution mechanics !
Q6. How many Partners do you have? And what are your expectations?
Rick: For now, partnerships aren’t really our priority .
Though, i don’t know if it’s relevant, but we are going to get listed on Coinsbit next monday .
But for the future, we’re planning to partner with existing meme sharing platforms ( we already had propositions) , and other meme tokens, aiming at becoming a hub where people can find projects they love, e.g charity meme projects , and have some guarantee / seal of approval to help them filter out bad apples.
Claudia: My personal expectation regarding MEMES, that right now is Rick’s “baby”, is to become a responsible “adult” in a few months, once the app is launched and perhaps a contender on the crypto market..

Q7. Can you tell us about the Transaction fees in Memes Token?
Rick: Yes , indeed.
They are quite simple :
4% per transaction, 2% going to automatic liquidity to ensure a more stable price during high volatility periods, and 2% redistributed to holders as a reward for being in the project.
We choose low fees to allow the platform to be useable without being oppressive, and the structure of fees might change in the future depending on community choices .
Claudia: Indeed, our community chooses everything we do in regards to MEMES

Q8. Can you share with our community the plans you and your project have for this year and the coming years?
Claudia: We rely on them for everything and so should they in regards to the future of their investment. so they choose what we do with MEMES
my plan for the community is to grow it to at least 20000 members in the next few months.. the coming years, i cannot say yet.. but the community will set out trajectory as it normally should…
Rick: So , for now, we have 2 objectives :
– Getting the application and network done in a timely yet effective manner
– Sharing the concept and the community all over the web !
So the next months will be dedicated to the platform upgrade and development, whilst instoring a strong base community and sharing the word everywhere in order to make our V1 launch a blast!
Then, the goal will be to keep on sharing the word around and improving the platform depending on user returns, as well as making meaningfull partnerships and expansions , the final milestone being to become THE place to be for memes , which would be a great success for us AND the whole crypto world, as we would push mainstream crypto usage to never-before-seen levels

Rick: Indeed. Though some adjustments will need to be made due to recent week’s events.
Q9. What are the major challenges of Memes Token and how do you intend to solve them?
Rick: About that, there are two major challenges :
1-> A technical challenge .
Most NFT platforms today are still centralized. They don’t respect the principles of crypto , and would their servers go down, that would become a gigantic mess to put them back online.
We are taking a different approach : 100% decentralized.
Even though that is not possible, we’re using all available methods so there is no single point of failure in our system .
And THAT is possible . We’re doing more than just using available technologies : we’re improving them in the spirit and vision of Satoshi Nakamoto, an information age with no owner .
A system that can’t be taken down .
And 2 -> a social challenge.
We’ll have to get the word out there, that we are making something new, something revolutionnary, and that we HAVE to be adopted as a mainstream media platform .
To do that, we’re using all the tools at our disposal , making a strong community, reaching out to influencers , spreading the word around .
Claudia: i am sure that my challenges are very different than rick’s … my challenges mostly have to do with human emotions and how to deal with it.. the community expects certain things and it is hard to deliver 1000 things at once to everybody… currently my biggest challenge is people having issues with pancake… which is where i should thank the admins and mods for helping, as always, our members solve their issues.

Rick: Well, something that hasn’t been made public yet, we added a little update sneakily earlier…
I noticed that it was impossible for non-metamask users to see posts on the beta version of the app , so i fixed that .
Also, we got contacted by some meme sharing platforms for some future partnerships , as i nonchalantly said earlier 😜
