Meet Overlord World, the P2E with No Gas Fees in the PvE Battle

The upgrade would allow players to enjoy its PvE game without gas fees.

Overlord Play-to-Earn Game Upgrade Offers Zero Gas Fees

Presently, the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) ecosystem faces an issue with gas fees, affecting numerous Play-to-earn (P2E) GameFi projects. In a bid to tackle this issue, Overlord would upgrade the GameFi platform, such that its Fighting (PvE) experience will garner zero gas fees!

With this new move, the protocol looks to enhance its profit-making mechanism and, in turn, attract numerous GameFi enthusiasts on BSC. The innovation was scheduled to take place on 17th October 2021. However, due to many bugs observed by the Overlord team, they postponed the upgrade. As a result, the protocol announced that they would commence the upgrade on 22nd October to test the new mechanism and avoid any more flaws.

“Fighting – Zero Fee is being tested by us continuously for the past few days, there are a lot of bugs. We need a few more days to continue testing and resolve all issues, ensuring a safe, secure and stable product launch. Scheduled to launch on October 22, 2021,” Overlord tweeted on 17th October.

With this in mind, Overlord’s upgraded product will launch this week. In Overlord, users can expect a gaming ecosystem with zero gas fees applicable to its PvE Fighting game.

What is Overlord?

Overlord is a Non-fungible token (NFT) RPG on mobile and web. It is the first mobile RPG game that has successfully integrated NFT for the benefit of GameFi enthusiasts. With just a mobile phone and a strong internet connection, players can enjoy the game with ease.

The protocol authorizes two tokens. The $LORD token is used in web games (farming and PvE-Fighting), while the $OVL token is used in the mobile game (PvP mode). Players earn the $LORD token through farming and fighting. On the other hand, $OVL is obtained from in-game quests and challenges. Finally, Overlord terms its exciting project as “the first NFT-integraded RPG on mobile.”
