Uniswap ‘Temperature Check’ Gets 80% Approval
It wasn’t unanimous, but it certainly was a landslide. A proposal to authorize 0xPlasma Labs to deploy Uniswap v3 on BNB Chain passed with the approval of 80% of $UNI holders’ votes.
The entrance of Uniswap would officially signal an epic Battle of the DEXes on BNB Chain, with reigning champion PancakeSwap facing off against super-heavyweight Uniswap and a field of contenders including Trader Joe, Baby Doge Swap, Wombat Exchange, and others.
The next step in Uniswap’s journey to BNB Chain is for 0xPlasma Labs to issue a final ‘Governance Proposal’ for community consideration.
