John Mcafee’s Suicide Leaves Many Questions Unanswered

The iconic software security guru passed away on June 23rd, just a few days after his extradition to the United States had been approved. The news had come as a shock to many, especially when the cause of death was revealed as suicide by his lawyer. John McAfee, the owner of the McAfee Antivirus, didn’t get to spend most of his last days in freedom as he was arrested in Barcelona, Spain, in October 2020 for fraud and money laundering charges. The arrest was prompted by a request of the U.S Department of Justice.

How does McAfee’s death affect the crypto world? John McAfee is a firm proponent of cryptocurrency projects and has regarded cryptocurrencies as humanity’s last hope for financial independence. McAfee has stayed in the cryptocurrency spotlight in past years, mostly by promoting Bitcoin and later Monero on his Twitter page. They did not spare the crypto enthusiast from the Twitter backlash mostly because of his often perceived “extreme predictions.” He once predicted that 1 BTC was going to be worth $500 000 in 2017. He later revised his comments in which most were expecting him to lower his price prediction but guess what, he doubled the price.

Oddities Surrounding McAfee’s Death Obvious

Questions have been raised following John McAfee’s death following his past emphasis on American officials sending him texts suggesting that his time was almost up. This claim has led many people to believe that he was expecting his death, which might mean McAfee didn’t commit suicide. One of his famous suspicious tweets read: “U.S. officials saying, in effect: ‘We’re coming for you, McAfee! We’re going to kill yourself.’ I got a tattoo today, just in case. If I suicide myself, I didn’t. I was whackd. Check my right arm.”https://platform.twitter.com/embed/Tweet.html?dnt=false&embedId=twitter-widget-0&features=eyJ0ZndfZXhwZXJpbWVudHNfY29va2llX2V4cGlyYXRpb24iOnsiYnVja2V0IjoxMjA5NjAwLCJ2ZXJzaW9uIjpudWxsfSwidGZ3X2hvcml6b25fdHdlZXRfZW1iZWRfOTU1NSI6eyJidWNrZXQiOiJodGUiLCJ2ZXJzaW9uIjpudWxsfSwidGZ3X3NwYWNlX2NhcmQiOnsiYnVja2V0Ijoib2ZmIiwidmVyc2lvbiI6bnVsbH19&frame=false&hideCard=false&hideThread=false&id=1200864283766251521&lang=en&origin=https%3A%2F%2Fbsctimes.com%2Fjohn-mcafee-suicide-leaves-many-questions-unanswered%2F&sessionId=eb83d670383b9aeb0962296663dfec3146aa83e0&siteScreenName=BSCTimes&theme=dark&widgetsVersion=fcb1942%3A1632982954711&width=550px

Why would anyone believe all this? John McAfee claims that he had detrimental information/data about many world elites and governmental organizations, and if he ever disappeared mysteriously, he would release the incriminating data. Also, he claimed that rather than what he was charged for, he was arrested because the United States is trying to get its hands on his hidden Bitcoin.

This all feels like an action movie that is not ending soon with all the dots left to connect. About the tattoo John McAfee talked about, he tattooed “whackd” on his right arm. Shortly after his death, his official Instagram account shared an image of the letter “Q.” Many believe the letter shared correlates to the QAnon conspiracy theory that suggests the world elite has been involved in global child sex trafficking and how high-ranked elites can manipulate the economy based on their control of the banking system.

Was John McAfee’s death a suicide, or was he murdered? No one is sure. It might all just be wild imaginations in people’s minds, or connecting all the dots might lead to fresh revelations on the icon’s death. Watch out for this space for more information as this one unfolds. The crypto world will miss John McAfee.
