Cryptocurrency Joins Forces with E-Gaming
The Jet Swap Finance Ecosystem has announced a partnership with Extra Salt, a popular Esports organization in North America.
The fit between crypto and video games is natural. Both Extra Salt and JetSwap came together via Twitter on September 15 to celebrate the momentous event for both teams. The more ways cryptocurrencies can find use cases and partnerships in mainstream happenings, the quicker we will see further recognition.
“We’re super excited to announce our partnership with @Jetfuelfinance,” wrote Extra Salt on their Twitter account.
Extra Salt is a Counter-Strike-based e-gaming team with members from North America and South Africa. The team was only founded in December 2020 but has already won four of the ten tournaments it has participated in throughout 2021, including two more runner-ups, according to Liquipedia.net.
Few details have emerged as to what the partnership will entail. Hopefully, we see Jetswap on the jerseys and merchandise of Extra Salt, which has an excellent little merch page on their website. They even sell their own salt!
“We’re pumped! Looking forward to big things!” tweeted JetSwap in reply.
The native $WINGS token for JetSwap is trading at $0.4543, according to CoinMarketCap. Jet Swap Finance currently holds nearly $15 million in total volume locked. The platform saw a 24-hour trading volume of over $730,000 USD, at the time of writing.
These numbers are down significantly from the all-time highs from the Spring of 2021. Still, JetSwap is savvy for building out marketing and partnerships to help build a revenue foundation for its platform. Together, Extra Salt and JetSwap could soar to great heights.
