Injective Labs Twitter Spaces – Recap

Team members from Injective stopped by to explain their latest initiatives and boost the understanding of their project.

Injective Joins Short Q and A

On Tuesday, December 22, the team from Injective Labs stopped by for a quick session of question-and-answer on the DeFi Direct Twitter Spaces. The CEO Eric Chen was joined by several other members of the Injective team, but mostly Mirza Uddin, Head of Business Development, and Chen took the questions from Andrew, the DeFi Direct Host.

Chen battled some technical difficulties to answer great questions about the latest developments at Injective Labs. The team recently had much of their focus on two initiatives where Terra Labs integrated into Injective as well as a weekly burn launch. Despite building out an impressive protocol, Injective is focused on decentralization.

“Because we see too many projects and you know a lot of these infrastructures are trying to basically sacrifice a decentralization for speed and efficiency. And oftentimes these sacrifices become too big where if you look, basically, they are no better than a lot of the centralized counterparts are trying to disrupt,” Chen explained. “So for us, we have a pretty strong uncompromising mission of making sure that every layer of this exchange infrastructure is fully decentralized.”

The Twitter Spaces was rather short-lived and only touched on a few topics including the newest bridge features on Injective that are sure to bring in plenty of liquidity and boost the protocol. With over 87 listeners, the event saw the messages from Injective reach a solid group. The team at Injective confirmed they hope to bring in more assets to grow the protocol moving forward while maintaining their adherence to decentralization and stability.

The DeFi Direct team plans to bring Injective back for a longer livestream on YouTube come the New Year. Be sure to watch out for more and maybe bring some questions!

What is Injective?

Injective is the first cross-chain protocol built for decentralized finance applications. On the Injective exchange, anyone can access, create, and trade unlimited DeFi markets such as futures and perpetuals. Developers can also build cross-chain Ethereum-compatible projects that are lightning fast and achieve instant transaction finality. Injective is backed by a prominent group of stakeholders including Binance, Pantera Capital and Mark Cuban.
