Infamous Staples Center in Los Angeles to Rename as Crypto.com Arena

Huge marketing campaign is solidified by taking over the naming rights of one of America’s top arenas.

Crypto.com Goes to the City of Angels

The Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, will officially become the Crypto.Com arena on Christmas day, Dec. 25, 2021, in a $700 Million naming rights agreement. The move puts that growing crypto app as the face of one of America’s most iconic and popular entertainment arenas.

Crypto.com has capped off a marketing campaign of $1 Billion that has seen multi-million dollar partnerships with massive brand names, including Formula 1, UFC, and multiple individual sports teams.

“In the next few years, people will look back at this moment as the moment when crypto crossed the chasm into the mainstream,” Crypto.com’s CEO Kris Marszalek told Sam Dean of the Los Angeles Times on Nov. 17. “And this positions L.A. and this particular venue right at the center of it.”

Crypto.com is quickly becoming a household name in the United States. With a growing supply of token availability on both ERC-20, BEP-20, and more, Crypto.com can compete with any exchange in the United States. Add in new features like Missions that help users that grant big daily rewards, and Crypto.com is giving users many reasons to pay attention and jump on the platform.

CRO token, the native token of Crypto.com has jumped over 150% since Nov. 1st, going from $0.20 to $0.50 as of Nov. 17th, according to CoinMarketCap. The Cronos Network, the partnered native network for Crypto.com, has also grown significantly recently. The network recently passed 1 Million transactions and over $500 million total volume locked.

“It’s a bit of a match made in heaven, when we think about the type of brands that we like to partner with,” said Dan Beckerman CEO of AEG, the owner and operator of the arena. “Crypto.com is looking for the most unique branding platform to make a statement and drive adoption, and we’re looking for an innovative, forward-thinking company to help us chart a course for the future of sports and entertainment events.”
