Free-to-Play game causes massive demand on launch, users are left waiting for an update.
HeroFi Game Launch Falls Flat
The long-awaited full game release of HeroFi launched on Nov. 20, and user demand was so high that HeroFi needs to update the system. The market reaction saw the protocol jump onto a number of blockchain gaming charts including the Dapp.com and Gamefi Army rankings.
An update from Chainlink during the HeroFi release, confirmed on Twitter, also prevented many transactions from completing which caused confusion amongst users. Ultimately, the user demand caused the HeroFi team to work on releasing an updated version of the game on Nov. 23rd at 09:00 UTC.

The protocol tweeted the above message to their community, with many in the HeroFi community clamoring in the Telegram for answers. All of the backlog issues and transaction problems are expected to be resolved with the current maintenance, and, per a Tweet update, users should see results beginning at 03:00 AM UTC on Nov. 23rd.
The free-to-earn game has proved to be extremely popular. The native token of HeroFi, $ROFI, reacted positively to the launch, jumping from under $10 to over $34, before settling around $25 at writing, according to CoinMarketCap.
