Sandbox, a Metaverse blockchain game built on the Ethereum network, has partnered with popular TV series Gordon Ramsey’s Hell’s Kitchen.
A Twitter thread on Aug. 16 announced the collaboration bridging entertainment and blockchain. The Sandbox has partnered with ITV Studios, the producers of Hell’s Kitchen, to bring the spicy reality series to their metaverse. Challenges await those who register for a chance to be named Head Chef in the metaverse kitchen.
“Smells like a challenge! Only the greatest chefs can survive #HellsKitchen,” Sandbox tweeted. “Are you up to the task? Create new dishes, win competitions, collect recipes & compete for your chance to make it to Head Chef. It’ll be a delicious experience!”
ITV Studio’s land on the Sandbox metaverse will host the experience of the five-time Emmy-nominated show. Hell’s Kitchen-themed assets will soon be made available for players to add to their own experiences, including a limited edition Gordon Ramsey avatar.
“There’s nothing more exciting to me than chartering new territory, whether that’s creating a signature dish, a new restaurant concept, a new show, or now a virtual experience in The Sandbox. I’ve been fascinated by The Sandbox and its offering in the metaverse. I couldn’t think of a better platform to bring the high energy of my Hell’s Kitchen restaurant and brand,” Gordon Ramsey said in Sandbox’s Medium post.
This will be the first kitchen-themed experience in Sandbox’s metaverse. Interested players ready to take on the challenge to become head chef can register on Sandbox’s website.
