The story behind the collection begins with ‘Haddie,’ a lobster discovered off the coast of Portland, Maine, by local lobsterman Billy Coppersmith. His haul didn’t involve any old lobster. Haddie was brilliant blue and had a fluorescent cotton candy sheen that saw it draw attention from media giants like CNN

The one in one hundred million lobster gave rise to a partnership between Mark Murrell and Billy Coppersmith, who helped the overnight sensation inspire an NFT collection of 7777 one in one hundred million Cotton Candy Lobsters. While a specific date for the mint hasn’t been set down, the upswing in volume on BNB Chain NFT collections may see the project move quickly.

The team’s roadmap featured on the website sets out the project’s navigation coordinates. Notably, when 47% of the NFTs are sold, the Haddies Bay Club will donate 10% of the Haddie’s Treasure Chest revenue to a chosen non-profit dedicated to marine conservation. The roadmap also includes incredible perks that tap into Coppersmith and Murrell’s contacts in the food and hospitality industry.

BSC News reached out to the Haddies Bay Club team, but they did not immediately respond for comment. BSC News will follow the collection’s progress closely.
