Binance joins sleek company by backing GuildFi, as the gamer platform builds its long-term foundation.
Binance Invests in GuildFi
GuildFi Global confirmed it secured a strategic investment from the $1 Billion Growth Fund of Binance Smart Chain (BSC). The amount of investment was not disclosed.
The move was announced by Binance on February 12, and the blog confirmed that the 150,000 GuildFi IDs will be able to earn double the GXP and in-game token rewards through all games in the GuildFi gaming center.
“GuildFi has seen massive growth since we launched. This not only reflects positively on the strength of our community and ecosystem but also portrays the massive potential of the NFT and GameFi space as a whole, Jarindr Thitadilaka, GuildFi’s Project Lead, said in the blog. “With investment from the BSC Growth Fund, it enables us to explore even more innovative avenues to grow the GuildFi ecosystem in the multichain world we are currently living in and bring unrivaled value to our community.”
GuildFi builds interconnected Web3 services for gamers on blockchain networks like Ethereum, BSC, and Solana. GuildFi currently hosts two games: the ever-popular Axie Infinity and the new BSC game CyBall. Cyball’s recent Triple IGO Launch on Binance NFT drew all-time high volume and also saw a 2000% subscription jump on GuildFi. The GuildFi ecosystem currently has more than 3,100 scholars, 30 coaches, and a waitlist of more than 20,000 players for scholarships.
Now Binance joins the impressive list of names backing GuildFi, including Alameda Research, Coinbase Ventures, Pantera, Animoca Brands, and more. The BSC Growth Fund aims to onboard more than 500 projects in the near future.
