A little over one month since Galxe hit the one-year mark, the protocol and its community have a new reason to celebrate. The highly anticipated GAL Token is finally ready to take off! Starting from now, Galxe’s GAL token will be available on Binance Launchpool and trading, will start on 2022–05–05 5am PST.
Do note that the Coinlist public sale tokens will be distributed to your Coinlist account starting on the same day as listing.
This announcement is exciting for many reasons, but mainly the GAL token means more opportunities for the Galxe community to get involved and rewarded. Binance Launchpool
On April 28th, Binance announced that the Galxe token (GAL) would be live on Binance Launchpool. Users will be able to stake their BNB, CAKE and BUSD into separate pools to farm GAL tokens over 30 days, with farming starting on April 28th, 2022 1am PST.

Early Adopter Rewards Distribution
1. The majority of the Early Adopter Rewards token allocation have been assigned to Galxe NFT holders (including holders of Galaxy Girl NFTs, Meta Cowboy NFTs, Shadowy Coder NFTs, and Dr. SOL NFTs), read details here. The snapshot of these NFT holders was taken on April 28th at 1am PST.
2. A total of 63,100 GAL tokens will be distributed to Galxe Brains and Galxe Pathfinders, who have been supporting the Galxe community. Here are the breakdown of the distribution:
3. A total of 5,000 GAL will reward to Steven Lei, a long-time Galxe contributor and Galxe Brain, who created the Galxe Explorer which helped so many astronauts explore Web3 through Galxe’s campaigns.
4. Starting on May 1st, users will be able to view the amount of GAL they can claim on the Galxe website. Tokens will be available to claim starting on May 5th at 5 am PST.
5. Additionally, a total of 79,000 GAL tokens will be airdropped directly to 100 partners who have been growing along with Galxe.
Due to legal restrictions, users from the U.S., Canada, China, Iran, Korea(North), Syrian Arab republic, Cuba will NOT be able to claim the airdrop.

Galxe has updated some details on the GAL unlocking schedule since the last time it was released on CoinList:
The 2% allocation of Early Adopter Rewards is now fully unlocked at TGE.
The 10% allocation of the Foundation release schedule is now changed to 4-year vesting instead of a 3-year.
The 15% allocation of the Team release schedule is now changed to 6-year vesting instead of 5-year.

New Website
New token, New Galxe website! With the announcement of the GAL token launch, Galxe wanted to celebrate by giving a little makeover to its homepage. The goal was to create a more intuitive and user-friendly experience for both users and builders. The website now features all of our services, in-depth case studies and a designated page for users to build.

The community forum was launched on the 13th of April for users to discuss and make proposals. The Galxe DAO is meant to be open and welcomes all to participate in the governance forum. One of the first proposals will be regarding the community treasury and selecting multi-sig signers to manage it.
