French Montana announced his next album will be released as an NFT in the metaverse. The announcement was made while Montana spoke at Miami NFT Week. Montana’s official partner, Radio Caca, will be in charge of the distribution of the album.
During the event, the renowned rapper was also presented with a prestigious painting by Radio Caca. The painting, created by Chinese artist Professor Yao, is a highly desirable piece of artwork in Eastern culture.
The painting was gifted to Montana as a sign of goodwill and gratitude for his collaboration. The rapper has been significantly involved with the project, seeking to lead a wave of musicians into the Non-Fungible Token (NFT) industry. The planned album release could be an enormous building block for the Web3 music industry.
French Believes in Web3
Radio Caca has and will continue to benefit from the support of French Montana. Many celebrities have endorsed cryptocurrency – but Montana has made a strong effort to become personally involved in the development of Radio Caca and Web3.
“I feel like Web3 is the new generation for everybody, you know, to make the game easier, to make the game bigger than ever before,” Montana explained in the interview.
He went on to discuss how famous rapper Kanye West had released his latest album Donda 2 (which Montana is featured on) exclusively through the Stem Player. Who is French Montana?
Karim Kharbouch, better known as French Montana, is a Moroccan-American rapper. Montana has been active since the early 2000s with his first mixtape being released in 2007. He is known for hits like “Unforgettable” featuring Swae Lee and “Choppa Choppa Down,” the song which propelled him into the limelight.
