First Round of MVB Results and Recap

Binance’s Most Valuable Builder (MVB) seeks to provide entrepreneur support to project developments on the Binance Smart Chain. The program, which covers projects built on the BSC network, contains integrations that help developers build innovative platforms on the network, providing support and assistance in the form of grants and listing on the Binance Innovation Zone.

The maiden edition of the MVB program, which started on the 5th of February 2021 and ran until the 23rd of this month (April), saw over 650 applications worldwide with three projects scaling to the last stage.

Phase 1, 2, and 3 of the Binance first MVB program

Three projects were successful in the program’s final round: AutoFarm, PancakeBunny, and Beefy.finance. Community interest in all three projects and the projects that successfully scaled the other phases, including BSCEX, KEBAB, NFTBOX, BDOLLAR, exploded. The top three were the most impacted as they became premium BSC projects with enormous community support and network activity.

Most Valuable Builder Round II

The next round of the MVB program, tagged “The Big Bang of NFTs”, will be focused on innovative NFT projects plus DeFi development. This will include high-performance infrastructures, like Data Indexing, and handling of significant user and transaction volumes on Binance Smart Chain, according to Binance.

The second round of the MVB program starts on May 1, 2021, and ends on July 22, 2021. As in the previous round, Binance MVB welcomes all NFT + DeFi developers and start-up projects to apply and join the next round.

Who Can Apply

MVB welcomes all BSC-based projects and projects integrating BSC into their platforms and ecosystem.

Complete the following steps to register for the MVB program:

1. Deploy your smart contract on Binance Smart Chain

2. Call the “registerContract” function from the deployer address (Use Metamask, Binance Chain Wallet, or other compatible wallets) and specify the contract address.

Note: The address to receive the rewards must be an EOA address.

3. Verify the contract registration.

The reward calculation will start immediately if the registration is valid. The contract creator can update the reward address without affecting the reward calculation by calling this method again. Specify the contract address and the address to receive the reward.

This method provides an interface for contract creators to confirm that their registry information is, in fact, correct. Contract creators can query the checked registry information (latest reward address and registry height) via BSCscan. If you can see the contract output with the correct reward address, it means the registration has succeeded; otherwise, it has failed.

Further details about the MVB round II and the roadmap plan, which covers the period between Phase 1, which starts (May, June 2021) to Phase 2 and 3 around July 2021, are written HERE.
