Tell us about your experience selling SWOG’s first NFT for 5000 Bake ($9,000) in less than 3 minutes since the launch.
I couldn’t believe it. I was in shock. It may not be relevant for most people if we compare it to the million-dollar purchases we are used to seeing lately regarding NFTs. However, it was a huge sale for me. It is great economic support for the financing of SWOG and a powerful boost to meet future objectives.
How did you enter this realm of NFT?
I joined Cryptocurrency trading back in 2017, but I first became interested in this new market niche when I read about 3D artist @beeple_crap sales. Thanks to my friend @zen.visuals, I was offered the opportunity to launch my first NFT on the bakeryswap platform, and just a couple of days, we managed to make it possible.
How was the process of uploading your NFT to Bakeryswap like?
It was simpler than I thought. It was the first time for me, but I would say it was quite easy. I created an account on Metamask wallet, connected it in a few steps to the bakery platform. Once I was connected, in just a couple of clicks, I was able to upload the artwork. Also, the bakery team was very thoughtful which made things easier.
What about SWOG’s future involvement with NFT?
I am working on my first NFTs collection along with huge visual artists. I want to tell a story behind those musical video artworks that is a mirror of the actual society and the crypto world. Needless to say, musical and visual productions that form this NFT will be exclusive. They will only be available on the Bakery platform.
Can you give us a hint on SWOG’s future launches?
During the next two months, I will release a new solo track, the last that I produced along with my ex-colleague in SWOG, @kyenamusic. It is the product that has created higher expectations among our circle, they say it is a hit. The pre-production of the video clip has already started. I’m excited about finally sharing this self-release project with the world.
What should we expect from SWOG in the future?
I am still working on some new solo productions and a couple of collaborations with national and international artists. I’m looking forward to this Covid situation getting better so I can start organizing live gigs like before. It is what I miss the most, no doubt. I love interacting with the audience, it is the best form of communication. Feeling their energy, dancing together. I can’t wait!
