Binance US Sponsors Meet-Up
CryptoConnect held a Meet-up In San Francisco on Thursday, its fifth meet-up across the United States this year. The meet-up in San Francisco was notably sponsored by Binance US, who is headquartered in the City by the Bay.
The meet-up welcomed crypto-enthusiasts of all levels with many conversations ranging from educational and eye-opening to more concrete networking between interested parties. Attendees to the meet-up in San Francisco were invited to JAX Vineyards for an evening of charcuterie, wine, and some much-needed in-person networking.
“I’ve missed this networking aspect to crypto during the pandemic. There is definitely an energy not felt while sitting at a computer,” said Sarah Cohen of Melrose PR, a crypto-related communication firm.
CryptoConnect is a women-led decentralized network dedicated to growing the crypto industry. As the world opens up, many crypto fanatics are finally getting a chance to speak in person and use common terms in lingo with like-minded folks for the very first time.
Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao joked and noted this himself at a recent October crypto event in Dubai, admitting that was his first public event since the lockdowns.
“This has been missing, and it’s great to make connections in person once again,” Cohen added.
